Step by step

What a Sunday morning looks like

The building opens at 10:30, the service starts at 11:00 and lasts about 90 minutes. Afterwards there is time for coffee — and you can leave whenever you like.

  1. You arrive and park

    There is parking right by the building. The entrance is shared with other tenants — our part is immediately on the right once you are through the door. The building opens at 10:30, so there is no need to rush.

  2. Someone welcomes you

    At the entrance one of our people will meet you, point you in the right direction and answer your questions. In the foyer there is a room with armchairs and tables where you can have coffee, tea and a light snack before we begin, and get to know someone without any rush. There is nothing to sign and no form to fill in.

  3. Worship starts at 11:00

    For the first twenty-five minutes or so we sing together. You can sing, stand, sit or simply listen — whatever feels comfortable.

  4. Then comes the teaching

    The sermon lasts roughly 35 to 45 minutes. We speak plainly and try to connect the Bible with ordinary life.

  5. You stay for coffee

    Afterwards there is time to talk. If you would rather slip away quietly, that is perfectly fine too.

What people ask most often

What should I wear?
Whatever you feel comfortable in. You will see hoodies and shirts alike. We do not judge anyone by their clothes.
Do I have to pay or give anything?
No. Entry is free. There is a voluntary offering during the service, but nobody is watching you and nothing is expected of you.
I am not a believer. Can I still come?
Of course. Many people came here for a long time before they decided to believe anything. Questions and doubts are welcome.
How long does the whole thing take?
The service lasts about 90 minutes, followed by an informal time for coffee and conversation.
What do I do with my children?
Children are very welcome and can stay with you throughout the service. We do not run a separate children’s programme at the moment — the church today is made up mostly of adults.
Do I need to register in advance?
No. Simply come along.
What language is the service in?
Services are held in Czech. Because we are close to the border, you will also meet Polish speakers here. If you need help with the language, write to us in advance and we will sort something out.
Is the building step-free?
There is a ramp at the entrance, which works well for a pushchair. For a wheelchair it is rather steep, so we recommend bringing someone with you. Let us know in advance and we will gladly help.
